Otavio Chaves is a retired astronomer and a 40-year veteran sportfisherman and is part of the Boats Team in the Public Relations Management area. Otávio handles all support from Rio de Janeiro-Brazil.

He is responsible for enquiries , reservations and financial management as well as Customer contact and lliaison and coodinates Kalua´s weekly activity status.

Over the course of the season he also takes part in hosting some groups on expeditions.
